After George Micheal’s recent arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, George Michael has allegedly checked himself into rehab in London. He was recently arrested after running his Range Rover into a store front near his home in Hampstead, London. George Michael posted this notice on his official website:

“I want to thank you all sincerely, and also to reassure those of you who worry so much for me. I fully appreciate the seriousness of my current situation, for which I truly apologise…
“I feel you should know that on the day after the incident I checked in to a clinic for a 14 day detox program here in London, which has been followed by ongoing outpatient drug counselling several times a week. Personal problems which I had tried to deal with myself had clearly got the better of me, and I am sorry that my pride has prevented me from seeking help before now.
“I would also like to express my thanks to those whose discretion allowed me to begin this process in private, which has helped me greatly.”

George Michael was arrested in Hampstead, London on Sunday on suspicion of being ‘unfit to drive’. That’s the british way of saying the person isn’t capable of driving a vehicle - so polite, the English!
Sources don’t reveal whether or not George Michael was under any influence when he crashed his Range Rover into an instant photo processor at 3AM the other night in London, but… well, you figure it out.

George later apologized via statement:

“I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them.”

People Magazine is reporting that Chris Klein, star of the American Pie movies, was arrested in Hollywood again under suspicion of DUI.

People says:

The California Highway Patrol says Klein, 31, was seen weaving westbound on the Hollywood Freeway and pulled over early Wednesday. Law enforcement sources say his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit of .08.

Nick Nolte, venerable actor (and a favorite around here @ WastedCelebrity - go watch Teachers or Down and Out in Beverly Hills) has allegedly checked into rehab in Germany for Alcohol and Drug problems.

According to the National Enquirer, Nolte checked into the exclusive Privatklinik in Dornstetten-Hallwangen on 18 May (10) with his girlfriend, fitness trainer Clytie Lane.

The actor, 69, was given alcohol and drug counselling in a clinic in 2002 after he was arrested for driving under the influence. He later confessed he had been taking the date rape drug GHB “for four years”.

Earlier this week, at the MTV Movie Awards after party hosted by Katy Perry, Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol monitor bracelt allegedly went off, alerting authorities that Lohan had violated the terms of her probation.

According to the TMZ report, the incident stems from the night of the MTV Movie Awards, where the actress’s SCRAM bracelet (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) generated a report to law enforcement officials that Lohan may have shown signs of alcohol ingestion. Lindsay of course posted to Twitter right away: “I didn’t violate anything”
