Actor Patrick Swayze lost his two year battle with Pancreatic cancer, and has passed away.
Known for his roles in 80’s hits such as Ghost, Roadhouse, Red Dawn and Dirty Dancing, Swayze has been in and out of the hospital and headlines of his death have been circulating for months.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.” said his publicist.

- His first film role was Giselher in Ring of the Nibelungs. Next was Older Rawdy Crawley in Vanity Fair. Never heard of them.
- He is 6′ 1.
- Auditioned in bed with Kristen Stewart for Twilight - ‘For the role of Edward Cullen, Robert flew from England to director Catherine Hardwicke’s house to audition. There, he and Kristen Stewart, who was already cast as Bella Swan, rehearsed the “Love Scene”/”Meadow Scene” on Hardwicke’s own bed.’
- Robert Pattinson wrote and performed some of the music on the Twilight New Moon soundtrack
