The rumors of David Hasselhoff’s emergency visit to an LA area hospital due to alcohol poisoning are not true, says Hasselhoff’s attorneys, Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine.

David Hasselhoff says that the reports claiming he was rushed to an L.A. hospital after suffering alcohol poisoning Saturday are untrue.

“Mr. Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories,” his lawyers, Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine, told Usmagazine.com in a statement Monday. “Mr. Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday and was absolutely fine.”

The former Baywatch star reportedly had a .39 blood alcohol level and was taken to Cedars-Sinai medical center after his daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, Calif., RadarOnline.com first reported. According to the site, his estranged ex-wife — actress Pamela Bach, who lives 10 minutes away in Hollywood — drove him to the hospital after her daughter called.

Although he did stay at the hospital overnight, Goldsman told Us that Hasselhoff was sick with possible food poisoning and only a “very slight amount” of alcohol contributing to his illness.

David Hasselhoff was rushed to hospital with alcohol poisoning after his teenage daughter found him unconscious, according to U.S. reports. David Hasselhoff has a rumored long history of supposed alcohol abuse and addiction, and reportedly has sought treatment in the past.

Hasselhoff checked himself into the Cedars Sinai Medical Center on December 3rd and on December 5th, after suffering from major alcohol poisoning on both occasions.

His daughters and ex-wife Pamela Bach were said to be infuriated at his return to booze after multiple promises to stop drinking. Apparently he also refused to let them visit him in the hospital. Hasselhoff has sole custody of his two young daughters, raising concerns for their well-being.

“David was a total mess. He’d urinated on himself. He was drooling and slurring so badly you couldn’t understand a word he said.

He goes into the hospital with alcohol poisoning, comes out and says he’s cured, then does it again. Taylor and Hayley fear their nightmare will end with a call from cops saying: ‘We’ve found your father dead.’“
