An unconfirmed story of Shia LaBeouf getting into yet another driving mishap surfaced yesterday freom a couple of sources. There was no drinking involved - and furthermore, Shia’s people insist that the story is not true! Jesse Coccoli, an LA resident, however, says it is true.

Shia LaBeouf allegedly bumped a vehicle driven by Jesse Coccoli Wednesday afternoon in LA. One small problem: Shia currently has a suspended license from refusing to take a breathalyzer test in a July accident that left his hand permanently damaged. Celebuzz reports:

“This story is completely fabricated,” a spokeswoman for LaBeouf told Celebuzz last night. “Shia was in Santa Monica with friends for the afternoon in question. This must be a clear case of mistaken identity.”
Coccoli said she stood by her story. In recounting the incident to Celebuzz, she said she did not recognize the star initially. “I think I said, ‘I can’t believe you just hit my car going two miles an hour,’ and realize, it is him,” she said.
She added that she and the star — who was wearing a brown hat, white shirt and sneakers, she noted — exchanged contact and insurance information at the scene. Coccoli said they also briefly chatted about their mutual interest in comedy. (LaBeouf got his start as a performer working as a pre-teen stand-up comic who told dirty jokes). “He asked where I perform. I said, ‘Laugh Factory, but you’re not invited ’cause you hurt my car.’”

Shia LaBeouf, star of Transformers and Transformers 2, has had his license suspend stemming from an incident in Hollywood last year, in which the young actor was charged with DUI.

Actor SHIA LABEOUF has been banned from driving for a year, following the Hollywood car crash last July (08) that left him with a crushed wrist.
The Indiana Jones actor was cleared of driving under the influence (DUI) by the Los Angeles County District Attorney in September (08), but has been handed the punishment because he refused to undergo “chemical tests” at the scene of the crash, reports Access Hollywood.
His license was suspended on 17 January (09).
LaBeouf was so badly hurt in the collision, shooting on Transformers 2 was interrupted and he still wears a brace on his left hand.

Details continue to emerge from the weekend car crash by drunken Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf. His passenger in the DUI crash has been identified as his Transformers 2 co-star Isabel Lucas.

Brian Perrulli, one of the first bystanders on the scene when LaBeouf’s truck was overturned following the incident, says everyone realized the actor was badly hurt and had been drinking, and the other motorist suggested the star should make a run for it.
Perrulli says: “The other guy was saying, `Maybe you should go, maybe you should get outta here,’ and Shia LaBeouf said, ‘No, I’ve gotta deal with this… It’s my problem.’”

Shia LaBeouf has been arrested for DUI this weekend in Las Angeles. He was also sustained minor injuries to his hand and knee in the crash, which also injured LaBeouf’s passenger and another driver.

LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn at a West Hollywood intersection around 3 a.m. when his pickup collided with another vehicle, rolling the truck over, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf said.

“It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,” Wolf said.

The young star (of the movie Transformers) has been in trouble with the law before, also for drunk and disorderly conduct as well as smoking in Burbank California, where smoking is banned.
